Lumber Logic Auto

Automatic Calculations
No database storage.

Lumber Logic eliminates the need for manual database entries. By moving from stagnant data to on-demand calculation, your arbor setups are generated instantly based on real-time input. The perfect setup is always ready before you even need it.

Instant Computation

No databasefetch with number of variations. Autocalculation gives you the exact setup you need, right when you need it.

Zero Maintenance

Forget about creating, saving, or updating arbor-setups.

Always Current

The logic evolves with your needs. Every output is fresh, accurate, and optimized for your current task.

Getting Started

Step 1

Initialize Inventory

Navigate to Options → Settings to register your available saw blades and rings.

Step 2

Machine Selection

Select your active machine profile to calibrate the auto-calculation engine.

Ready

Logic Enabled

The system is now primed to generate precision setups based on your inventory.

Standard Workflow

Recommended

Navigate to Create Orderlist

Go to Options → Create Orderlist to start building your production batch.

Define Lumber Array

Input the raw dimensions of your materials. This acts as the blueprint for the entire setup.

Single-Source Output

The system filters out noise, delivering only the exact arbor setup required for your raw measures.

Quick Arbor Setup

On-the-fly

Need a setup immediately without creating a full order list? Use the express route.

Options → Quick Arbor Setup

Direct Raw Input

Enter your raw target dimensions directly into the quick interface.

Auto-Calculated Spacers

The engine instantly calculates all shim and spacer rings—no manual entry required.

Configuration Guide

Arbor Setup Reference

This guide illustrates how the arbor configuration is derived from the selected lumber pattern. Each color-coded indicator corresponds to a specific ring category to simplify component identification.

Small Rings

Blue indicators represent small rings, typically used for fill.

Standard Rings

Green indicators denote standard rings, The most frequently used rings for standard arbor configurations

Large Rings

Red indicators mark extra large rings, Larger diameter rings designed to provide increased blade stability, allowing for the use of thinner kerf saw blades.

The Role of the Lumber Array

The Lumber Array maps target raw dimensions to the precise arbor configuration required. By correlating raw measurements to specific production posts, it eliminates ambiguity.

This system ensures a direct path to the optimal post selection, streamlining the setup process and minimizing the risk of manual selection errors.

Configuration Note: The lumber array is defined within the List Creator.
